The ASG AUG A2 is another unique bullpup rifle, featuring solid polymer body and a flat top rail to mount any optic the user would like.
The bullpup platform is one that puts the magazine and gearbox behind the user's firing hand, allowing this rifle to have a much longer barrel than would normally be able to fit in such a short gun. The increased barrel length make this gun a perfect candidate for a DMR or sniper platform, both of which would allow the user to make full use of the flat upper rail to mount a scope or other optic on top. The polymer construction of the AUG variant feels solid and textured to the touch with no creak or wobble in any part of the stock. The grip is comfortable and happens to be the perfect balance point for this rifle when it's tucked in to the user's shoulder. The folding front foregrip is a great touch, as it can be folded out of the way to serve as a more traditional handguard or left in the down position to be used as a vertical foregrip. The modified Version 3 gearbox in this AEG is perfect for upgrading, and maintenance is relatively easy due to an abundance of parts and support available for Version 3 gearboxes. The all black finish of this rifle gives it a sleek and stealthy look and fits right in with the almost futuristic theme of the gun.
The bullpup design of the AUG may not be for everyone, but anyone interested in giving it a try will be more than happy with the ASG AUG A2 due to it's customizable upper rail and more plain looks than the standard AUG.
