This category is reserved for shotgun shells designed to work in our selection of airsoft shotguns. Our shotguns are tri shot models, with three separate barrels for each bb. Some of these are spring powered, and others are powered by green gas. These shells are loaded individually into your shotgun, and must be swapped when empty like a magazine. These shells are not designed for shell ejecting shotgun models.
Airsoft manufactures have designed these shells in a way to emulate a real shotgun shell, however they function much more like a magazine. While the look is for aesthetics, the function of these as magazines is much more practical for airsoft games. With a real shotgun you would pump the action to eject the spent shotshell to load a fresh one, however that system would be highly impractical for airsoft because you would be chasing around your shells, which can start to add up if you were to lose your shells. With each shell holding 30 BBs and each shot launching 3 bb’s, each shotshell will give you 10 shots. They are not that big so you can carry a bunch of them either in a pouch or bag.
Shotguns come in many different varieties. Spring powered shotguns are the most budget friendly, however they must be pumped by hand to tension to spring, which could be difficult for a younger player. Green gas shotguns such as the ones from Jag arms are more powerful and much easier to pump.

Q: Are these shells compatible with my shotgun?
A: These shells are designed to work in any tri shot airsoft shotgun. This includes our shotgun models from Elite force, and Action sport games. We have tested these shells to be compatible with not only these brands of shotguns, but also other brands including: Tokyo Marui, UTG, Double Eagle, and CYMA.
These shells also work in some gas shotguns out there including ones by Tokyo Marui and JAG Arms.
These will not work in shotguns such as G&P or Maruzen, or shotguns that use a box style magazine nor will they work in airsoft shotguns that utilize actual shotshell style cartridges.
Q: What kind of bb’s should I use in my shotgun shells?
A: As this is a close quarters airsoft gun, we suggest using .20g bb’s to .28g bb’s. The shells use a standard 6mm plastic airsoft bb. Check out our bb selection here!
Q: How do I load airsoft shotgun shells?
A: These shells can be hand loaded, however this is a difficult process. The simplest way is to use one of our speed loaders, and fill the shell until it is full. Each shell can hold up to 30 rounds, which will give you ten shots before you need to load another shell. When you feel that the shell is full, be careful not to force the bb’s into the shell, as this could break the shell or your loader.
