About the M3 MAAWS Launcher Shell - 10 Pack
The Elite Force M3 MAAWS Launcher Shells are a unique ammunition system, employing 65mm shells that are specifically designed for its launcher. These shells are an integral part of what makes this airsoft gun so distinctive and effective in gameplay.
Here's how it works: Each 65mm shell is filled with 6mm airsoft BBs. When the launcher is fired, these shells are propelled forward. During their flight, the shells separate, releasing a swarm of BBs. This mechanism creates a scattering effect, covering a wide area with BBs, which is particularly useful in airsoft games for area denial or suppression tactics.
The propulsion of these shells is powered by green gas, which is a common and efficient power source in airsoft. The gas is loaded into a 40mm shell, which is then inserted behind the 65mm BB shell in the launcher. When the trigger is pulled, the gas rapidly expands, propelling the 65mm shell out of the barrel.
This system not only provides a practical way to cover a wide area with BBs but also adds an element of realism to the airsoft experience.
