Q: Who makes the airsoft Beretta pistols?
A: The Beretta officially licensed pistols are sold by the Elite force brand, as well as Action sport games. Elite force makes a co2 only model that also features a full auto selector switch. The ASG model is semi auto only, but can use green gas or co2. The Action sport games model is manufactured by KJW.
Q: Who is Beretta?
A: Beretta is an Italian firearms manufacturing company. Its firearms are used worldwide for a variety of civilian, law enforcement, and military purposes. Beretta is currently the oldest active firearms manufacturing company in the world, and was founded in the 16th Century. In 1918, Beretta created one of the first sub machine guns in the world, the Beretta 1918. It was fielded by the Italian army and allied forces. Since the 1980’s, the Beretta 92FS (Designated as the M9), was the primary sidearm used by the United states Army, Navy, and Marine corps until it was replaced in 2019. Today Beretta manufactures a wide variety of pistols, shotguns, rifles, revolvers, lever action rifles, and much more.
Q: Which magazine is compatible with my Beretta?
A: The Beretta M84 is a magazine for the partial blowback created by Elite force. It is only compatible with this specific model. The Beretta m92a1 by Elite force only uses these specific co2 magazines, and also features an extended magazine option that hold 42 rounds! The standard magazine holds 22. On both of these the co2 is installed inside of the magazine with an Allen screw on the bottom of the mag.
Q: What ammo should I use?
A: These mags are designed for 6mm plastic airsoft bb’s, and for the weight we’d suggest anywhere between .20 and .32. A .20g (lightweight bb) will be more susceptible to wind than a .28g (heavier) bb weight. A heavier bb will travel slower, but is better in terms of wind resistance and accuracy. Check out our bb selection here!
Q: How do I maintain my Beretta magazines?
A: Green gas magazines have lubricant in the gas, so you won’t have to regularly maintain these as much as a co2 magazine. The co2 magazines will need to be lubricated with silicone oil on the seal and valve. This is to avoid the seal drying out and cracking. It’s important to use a silicone based oil, as anything alcohol based will dry out the rubber components further. A silicone based oil will keep your magazines up and running.
