About the Condor Map Pouch
For milsim minded players, Condor has a pouch for every situation. This is the Condor map pouch which is used to store folded maps and sensitive documents while protecting them from getting wet. Starting with the outside you have a downward opening flap that is secured by velcro and also with a velcro patch panel outside. This can be pulled open by a nylon tab that can easily be located in an emergency situation. Once opened you have two vinyl compartments for small paperwork such as IDs which are further sealed with velcro. Fold that same flap upward and you unlock another general pocket compartment complete with three pen holders sleeves. For the main compartment you have a big square shaped section each with an internal pocket on either side of the body. There is velcro present which interfaces with the map sleeve which has velcro as well. The map sleeve is vinyl and with reinforced edges and is sealed by velcro to keep your sensitive documents safe from the elements short of submersion of the pouch and contents. There is a built in drain grommet at the bottom so that if you do get water in the pouch it won't stay there for long. The pouch is constructed out of durable 1000D nylon. The zippers have paracord finished with hardened pull tabs for quick and easy access without the noise of metal pulls that could also eventually fatigue and break.
This pouch is useful even for the casual players for those who run MOLLE platforms. This pouch could easily house your wallet and keys safely.
Having MOLLE gives you limitless possibilities for your setups and the ability to adapt based on one platform but sometimes can be overwhelming in the fact that you will probably be tinkering with your loadout for a bit before you can arrive to the optimal setup that you were searching for. We find it to be a love/hate relationship because when you play for a bit you're always trying to make things more convenient and more accessible so you can get faster reload times and fumble with your gear less. With modular gear you aren't married to a particular arrangement of pouches so you don't have to start over if you want to make a minor change.
