About the Echo1 M14 SOCOM 16 Airsoft Gun
The Echo1 M14 SOCOM is a more compact version of the M14 that still uses the same magazines and parts aside from the shorter outer barrel while retaining a unique look.
This rifle is not just a shorter version of the M14, but generally more compact and easier to use. Given how long the M14 was, the difference in length can make all the difference when navigating tight corners and other obstacles. This rifle features a solidly build polymer stock with a full metal barrel and receiver. This rifle is very evenly balanced due to the shorter barrel. The texturing on the handguard and the grip make the rifle feel more solid in the hands while using it, but are still very comfortable to use even without gloves on. The textured and matte black finish on the polymer of this gun both looks and feels very stealthy and tactile. The mock charging handle on this gun is an absolute blast to pull back and let go, making a solid metallic clack upon impact, giving this rifle that extra bit of realism. Internally, this M14 sports a standard Version 7 gearbox and M14 styled hopup, making upgrades plentiful and not too tricky to install. The rail section mounted on the upper heatshield is prime real estate for an optic. Put those two bits together and you have an incredible platform for a DMR or Sniper Rifle build.
