The L85/L86 family of assault rifles is the stantard issue weapon of the British Armed Forces, and has been in constant service since 1987. The L85 has seen combat in nearly every major global conflict from the first Gulf War in 1991 to the current wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. All you need to do in order to access it are to remove two body pins and the butt plate to expose the gearbox. Then removed the two motor connectors, and the gearbox slides right out of the upper receiver. Quick and easy, this design makes internal upgrades a breeze.
