Q:Where are these guns made? A:Lancer Tactical’s rifles are manufactured in a number of different factories in the airsoft world.
Q:Do they use proprietary parts? A:The only proprietary parts of note on Lancer Tactical rifles are their external parts, due to their polymer body construction. An example of this would be the rail system on their M4 series.
Q:Do they use OEM’s (Original Equipment Manufacturers)? A:Lancer Tactical does use OEM’s, and they use a few of them. However this is not something to be worried about, as they’re all held to rather high quality standards by Lancer Tactical.
Q:How long do these guns typically last? A:The average AEG has a lifespan of about 4-5 years, provided that they are maintained well and not heavily modified. Lancer’s rifles are no exception to this rule, and can hold their own in terms of longevity when compared to more expensive rifle.
Q: What is the average price range of these guns? A:Lancer Tactical has rifles ranging from the very low price of $99.99, up to the low $200 range. This covers not only budget and starter rifles, but even some higher quality mid-range rifles.
Q:What type of player are these guns made for? A:Lancer Tactical tailor-makes their rifles for the money conscious player. They have some of the most inexpensive AEG’s available on the market, and these still manage to compete with rifles that are far more expensive. From the newest players to the savviest ones, Lancer Tactical has you covered if you’re not looking to break the bank.
Q:Are these guns “LiPo ready”? A:“LiPo ready” is mostly just an industry term that’s thrown around willy nilly. Lancer Tactical’s rifles, like most AEG’s, will be able to handle a 7.4v LiPo right out of the box. An 11.1v LiPo will also work in these rifles, however you’re more likely to run into durability issues due to such an increased rate of fire.
Q:Do these guns have any magazine or bb compatibility issues? A:There are not really any compatibility issues with these rifles to speak of when it comes to bb’s or magazines. They’ll accept pretty much any high quality bb or magazine that you have around.
Q:Does Lancer Tactical offer a warranty on their guns? A:While Lancer Tactical does not offer a manufacturer’s warranty, Fox Airsoft has you covered with our 30/30 Warranty/Return policy. If you don’t like it, you can return all brand-new and unused products in the manufacturer’s original packaging to the store within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
Q:What is Lancer Tactical’s specialized model or type of gun? A: Lancer doesn’t necessarily specialize in one particular model of rifle. Instead, they focus their efforts on two. They make a number of different rifles under both the M4 and AK category, and they’re all special in their own way.
Q:What is Lancer Tactical's coolest gun? A:Lancer’s Beta Project AK’s are without a doubt their coolest product. These are some very unique AK’s that have all of the cool external features of an M4, and more. From an ambidextrous charging handle, to an ergonomic pistol grip, to a crane stock on a buffer tube, to a modular RIS, the Beta Project AK’s really have it all.
Q:What is Lancer Tactical’s wackiest gun? A:The wackiest product that Lancer makes is probably their AK74u RIS. First of all, it has the strange size component of your normal AK74u. Combine that with an even smaller rail system, and you get a pretty strange gun. Oh and, should you feel like making it even smaller, this gun has a folding stock.
Q:What sets Lancer Tactical apart from the others? A:Lancer offers some very, very durable guns for the price point. Fox Airsoft uses their rifles in our rental fleet, and we’re consistently impressed with how durable these rifles continue to be. The price tag on these products is most certainly not representative of the quality that they bring to the table.
