About the Condor Knee Pad 2
These knee pads by Condor Outdoor will keep your knees from getting too banged up when playing airsoft. Whether you are playing at an indoor or outdoor field, you will certainly appreciate what these knee pads do. When you play indoors, the ground will be very hard and often times may be covered with BBs. If you have never knelt down on some BBs before you will know it is very unpleasant. If you are outdoors you may see yourself taking a knee or going prone. Loose rocks and debris would also be just as unpleasant to be kneeling in. The knee pads will solve that problem and protect your knees. They will also protect your pants in the knee area which would be prone to getting torn up from putting your knee to the ground. These are sized more for adults so unfortunately we feel these will not work for our youngest players. Getting shot in the knee is also somewhat unpleasant (as is anywhere boney) so you could get some added protection here.
Q: Are knee pads required to play airsoft?
A: Knee pads are not required safety equipment by any means so consider this as an option. If you are just starting out, play a few games and get that experience first to see if this is something you could utilize or make your quality of life inside airsoft any better. You may find that you might be able to play without them.
Q: How do you put these on?
A: The straps are elastic for a tighter fit and are velcro so you can adjust how tight you will want your knee pads to be on your leg. There is quick detaching hardware on the sides of the pad that make it easier for you to take these on and off.
