This category contains our selection of airsoft stocks! The stock is the adjustable section on the back of the rifle that goes into your shoulder. This is designed to support the AEG while you are shooting. The length the stock extends out is adjustable, so that you can fine tune the stock to its most comfortable position. These stocks are designed to fit on to any standard M4 buffer tube. Some airsoft stocks are designed to hold a battery; however, some are not able to do so. If you’re looking to improve the ergonomics of your rifle or increase your battery space, check out our airsoft rifle stock selection!

Q: How do I install a different stock on my rifle?
A: Not every stock is designed the same way, but the basic operation remains pretty similar across all models. To begin, we’ll need to remove the original stock. There is a release lever used to adjust the stock up and down on the buffer tube. You’ll need to pull this lever down all of the way and slide the stock completely off of the buffer tube.
Once the original stock has been removed, you can reverse the process to install the new stock. Pull the release lever all the way down, then slide the stock into place on the buffer tube.
Q: How do I access the battery compartment of my stock?
A: If your stock has a battery compartment, you can access it by removing the butt pad. This method to doing this can vary between stock. Typically, you’ll see two plastic tabs holding the rubber butt pad in place. Pinch these tabs together, then pull the butt pad off of the stock. Some stocks have a couple screws holding the rubber pad in place. Remove the screws to release the rubber butt pad.
Q: What does “rear wired” and “front wired” mean?
A: A front wired gun has its battery wires routed to the front of the of the gun, typically into the handguard. On a front wired gun, the battery compartment is in the handguard. If you want to have your battery wires going into your stock, the battery wires will need to be re routed to the rear of the gun. This is something that we can do for you in our tech shop. Email us at sales@foxairsoft.com or call us at 888-316-7816 to see if your gun can be rear wired. If your gun is already rear wired, you’re good to swap out that stock!
Q: How do I change out my buffer tube?
A: Some stocks include a unique buffer tube. To install this, remove your original stock by following the steps above. Down at the bottom of the buffer tube, there is a screw holding the buffer tube into the receiver. Unscrew this to release the buffer tube. Make sure when you install the new buffer tube that the wires are routed the same way they were previously. Tighten the new buffer tube with the screw going into the receiver, and you’re all set!
