About the ASG Scorpion EVO 3 A1 Front Support Grip
The ASG Scorpion EVO 3 A1 Front Support Grip is an authentic CZ accessory designed for the EVO 3 A1 but should work on any airsoft gun with a picatinny rail system. This mounts to the rail on the underside of the gun with crossbolts to keep it secured to the rail. It can also serve as a front sling attachment point utilizing the built in loops that are part of the grip.
These tiny grips are not actually grips you grab onto. Often referred to as handstops, these offer users with a minimalist solution to the age old problem of "what's the best way to hold my gun". A hand stop gives you a reference point so you can grab and shoulder your gun the same way each time. The short stubby nature of the stop isn't as clumsy as a full vertical grip and you won't be missing much if you grab only part of vertical grip anyway.
About the ASG Scorpion EVO 3 A1
The real Scorpion EVO 3 is a 9mm carbine/SMG designed by CZ. It is chambered in 9mm and similar in size and performance to other popular sub guns like the MP5 but with a lot of modern improvements. The gun is ambidextrous and the chassis is made completely of polymer with metal parts inside. It has a folding/adjustable stock and really good ergonomics making it very controllable for its size.
The airsoft version brought to us by Action Sport Games is one of the most ambitious and original designs that we've seen in years. All the functions of the real EVO have been translated into AEG form. The gun comes equipped with a MOSEFT inside a well tuned gearbox so the gun screams and is very efficient at the same time. In the gearbox you have an entire catalog of high quality ASG ultimate parts including the motor, piston, CNC gear set, quick change spring guide, and micro trigger switch. The MOSFET though is not merely for protection or efficiency alone. It is also programmed to interact with the magazines so it will stop the gun from firing if the magazine is completely empty. Then in order to get the gun back into action, a fresh magazine must be inserted and the bolt release is activated. No other traditional AEG does that, at least not the ones that cost less than this EVO. Also you have built in low-voltage protection so that you aren't overdischarging which is the number one reason why Lipo batteries die a premature death. The gun has semi, 3-round burst, and full auto for available fire modes. Being that the gun is all polymer externally with solid internals, it is still pretty sturdy and we feel this AEG feels pretty close to the real EVO. This gun packs a lot of features but it is far from beginner friendly. We recommend this gun to experienced users only.
