About the different types of Batteries for your Scopes, Lights, Lasers, Red Dot / Reflex Sights and more
This category features replacement batteries for the electronic airsoft accessories we sell. This is not the category for airsoft gun batteries, for those please refer to this page. These batteries are commonly found in red dots, scopes, lasers, flashlights, and other electronic devices. These are high quality, long lasting batteries designed for the best performance.
Most of these batteries are made by Action sport games, Opsmen, and Tenergy. Some examples of the batteries we carry include: CR123A batteries, CR2032 watch batteries, and AG13/LR44 button batteries. Watch or button batteries are referred to as such due to having a similar appearance to a button found on a garment. To prolong your battery life, avoid leaving your optic or other device turned on by accident. This will drain the battery in a short time span.

Q & A:
Q: Are these batteries rechargeable?
A: Unless listed otherwise, these batteries are not rechargeable. Do not attempt to recharge these batteries.
Q: I’m not sure which battery my optic/light/laser uses. What do I do?
A: If you have any questions in regards to an optic we at Fox Airsoft carry, we would be happy to help you. You may also refer to your owner’s manual for more information about your product and the battery it needs. Finding the right battery requires a lot of accurate information so if you should reach out to us please be prepared and have that information ready when we start asking you some questions. You may call us at (888)316-7816 or e-mail us at sales@foxairsoft.com, Due to the huge variety of optics out there we are sorry we cannot help you with service for optics outside of what we stock. Please consider contacting the manufacturer or the retailer you acquired your optics from.
Q: Can I substitute similar watch batteries if it is not the exact battery required?
A: We do not suggest attempting this, as different batteries will have different voltage levels. The terminal voltage of a battery cell depends on the chemicals and materials used in its construction, and not on its physical size. Attempting to use a battery with a higher voltage could permanently damage your optic or electronic accessory.
Q: My electronic optic / accessory was rained on. Will it be ok?
A: Electronic optics and lights are designed to be weather sealed, however it is not fool proof. Be sure to wipe any droplets of water from the exterior of your product. It’s a good idea to open the battery compartment and make sure that is dry as well. Check the functionality of the device before it’s next use, and you’re good to go!
