About the Classic Army M24 LTR Magazine
The Classic Army M24 LTR magazine holds 25 rounds. These types of sniper rifle magazines require the use of a traditional speed loader to load. Stock up on these for your extra long missions!
Warning: Keep these loaded magazines in a pouch or somewhere that the external BB follower/latch won't accidentally get hit. Your BBs can be accidentally released if this component is disturbed.
About the Classic Army M24 LTR
Classic Army has been a leading manufacturer in airsoft for a long time and the M24 was the backbone of their spring powered sniper rifles. Now CA has introduced new variants with a different firing system compatible with more commonplace aftermarket upgrade parts. This model we have here is the LTR (Light Tactical Rifle). It weighs about 5.5lbs, which is not heavy at all. In fact it is lighter than many pro line M4 type rifles. But less weight does not mean less realism. This gun is very solidly built with no creeks or wobbles. One thing you will observe in the cheaper low end sniper rifles is their use of a cheaper plastic stocks and low grade metals. While they might pass in terms of looks, when you pick it up you will notice how toy-like they feel. Not with the M24 LTR though. The dense fiber stock has the same feel of any real life tactical rifle with no wobbles or creeks. Everything just feels more solid. And that is what you get when you spend a few more dollars for this rifle is more polish.
The newest version of the Classic Army M24 LTR is 30% lighter than the original versions you have seen over the year. The trigger box is all metal. The barrel length is 515mm and is a 6.03mm tight bore brass barrel from the factory. Be sure to use only the best BBs! The trigger box has been reinforced and the pull is clean and polished from the factory. The trigger box we found to be non-adjustable though many sources claim it was adjustable. We have not found that to be the case upon examination so take that claim with a grain of salt. Be that as it may, the stock trigger is excellent with a clean break and no slop. The M24 is 99% VSR-10 parts compatible leaving plenty of room for aftermarket upgrades such as new barrels, pistons, cylinders, springs, and anything else you might want. The gun shoots 430-440fps with 0.20g BBs out of the box. Classic Army USA prides itself in taking customer feedback and improving their products continually. Current generation improvements based on user feedback has lead to the addition of a clearing port in the rifle action to clear any double fed BBs that would normally cause a jam that takes disassembly to clear.
