About the Echo1 Sling Mount Loop
Not every airsoft gun comes with provisions to mount a sling so sometimes you have to add your own. Use these sling mounts to add a mounting point for your mash hook style sling onto your airsoft gun. These are made of solid aluminum and will keep your airsoft rifle secure.
If you are looking to add a sling to your airsoft gun first you must examine the existing mounting provisions that your airsoft gun come with. This dictates what kinds of slings you can install onto your gun. If you have a specific sling you wish to run, you'll have to make sure that it is compatible with your gun in its present condition or if you need to add some items to make the gun work with the sling. This is where the Echo1 sling mount loop comes in. If you are familiar with mash hooks, this simple aluminum loop will accommodate mash hooks which are easily and quickly installed or disconnected.
Why do you need a sling? If you are just walking around with an airsoft rifle for even a few minutes, you may experience some fatigue just from casually standing around. Now imagine doing that in game. When you are running around with your rifle in a game, a sling with spare you from some of that fatigue but also gives you more options on what you can do. A sling will secure you airsoft gun while you need your hands free to manipulate a prop or perform a task.
The Echo1 sling loop can be mounted to a picatinny or weaver rail system. An Allen key is included for install. This loop is secure with proper amount of tension of the bolt located on the side. Although this does require some tension to stay secured to your rail system, over tightening this or with any other airsoft accessory could strip the threads out of the metal. If you are not confident in installing an accessory please have a local professional do it for you. Due to the high possibility of damage by improper installation, we will not warranty accessories after installation has been attempted by you.
You may find many popular slings that use the mash hook style point of attachment. This is often called the HK style, named after its originators. All it is is a spring loaded hook that you can only open one way. This might seem really simple but it works well and is proven. Simpler strap style slings will not work with this and you will need sling flat loops installed instead.
