The Madbull Gemtech GM-9 Barrel Extension is designed as an accurate replica of the actual Gemtech GM-9 suppressor but is compatible with all 14mm CCW airsoft threads.

This mock suppressor is based on Gemtech's GM-9, which is meant of 9mm caliber handguns. If you are after the correct look and markings for your pistol build, getting the correctly marked can is a great added attention to detail that will enhance the overall aesthetic for you. If the licensed Gemtech and caliber markings are not a big deal to you, you could use this mock suppressor on anything really. But this would be ideal on a 9mm style gun like a Glock or many tactical style HKs.
The body is made of T6-6061 series aluminum and is very solid feeling while at the same time keeping weight down. When mounting a mock suppressor to an airsoft handgun, sometimes the blowback can be sluggish or you can run into malfunctions when the can is too heavy for the gun to cycle properly. Using this on a CO2 powered gun or a pistol with a fixed barrel would be optimal.
The finish is anodized and is of the highest quality. The build quality and anodized finish make this indistinguishable from the real Gemtech GM-9 which this replica is based on.

A: Yes, most other ones can. This model just happened to be designed with a tighter constriction that would not allow us to do that in our testing. This is the nicest looking mock suppressor on the market though, but in terms of added function this is more of an aesthetic upgrade more than anything.
Q: Do mock suppressors in airsoft actually quiet down your gun?
A: Airsoft mock suppressors legally sold in the US cannot be functional and do not have real suppressing capabilities. Airsoft mock suppressors in the US will be solid or filled in a manner that they cannot be hollowed out or modified. These types of suppressors only change the report of your gun to a deeper pitched sound at most.
Q: I'm really picky when it comes to my markings. Do you have a .45 version of this mock suppressor?
A: Yes, Madbull produces the GM-45 model from Gemtech which you can look for.
