About the NC Star 2-7x 32mm XRS Scope:
Adjustable magnification is a great feature in a scope. Sometimes you're looking at a target at closer range, but still the need the precision of a magnified scope. Sometimes you need to have a large zoom for long range targeting, or to gather intelligence on the other side of the field. This NC Star XRS scope gives you the best of both worlds with an adjustable 2 - 7x magnification. Usually having this type of magnification and adjustment comes at a cost - a long heavy and bulk scope that can be cumbersome to lug around on your primary rifle. The is only 7 inches in length and weights 17 ounces. The length reduction over a traditional scope allows you to more easily maneuver your rifle in the field. The 32mm objective diameter allows you to have a large field of view, making sure you don't miss any critical intel on the field. The scope features a blue illuminated cross hair style reticle. There are 7 brightness settings that you control to match it to the ambient lighting conditions. The mil standard 1913 picatinny rail quick release mount allows you to mount the optic to any gun that has a standard rail system. The mount also has a quick release feature, this makes it easy to remove and reinstall the unit on your rifle while in the field. The unit comes with multiple upper scope rings that give you the ability to mount additional accessories. One of these rings features a picatinny rail mounted to it - a perfect way to mount a flashlight or laser to the unit. It also features a mount that is designed to attach a small reflex sight for fast target acquisition. These "Doctor" sights can screw directly into the mounting plate. The unit uses a CR2032 battery to illuminate the reticle.
