Q: Which magazine is compatible with my CZ pistol?
A: There are a few different families of CZ pistols. For a spring powered option, there is the CZ-75D which is only compatible with the appropriate CZ-75D magazine. For the non blowback CZ 75 P-07, you’ll need the correct stick type magazine which can be found here.
For the partial blowback models, we have the CZ SP-01 PBB and the CZ-75D compact. These have some recoil, but less than the full blowback model. They are powered by 12g co2 cartridges, and are bit more gas efficient by using less blowback.
There are a couple main families of the full blowback models, including the CZ P-09’s, and the CZ Shadows. The P-09’s have a green gas or co2 option available. There is a polymer slide P-09 which should only be used with green gas, and a metal slide P-09 that is rated for the co2 magazines. Verify which one you have before purchasing magazines!
The CZ Shadows come in a few different forms. The CZ SP-01 shadow is the original, and was followed by the CZ Shadow 2 and the B&T USW. These all belong to the same group, and can use the same CZ Shadow mags. The CZ Shadow 2 and USW feature a different baseplate, but are still compatible with the SP-01 Shadow. The USW has extended mags available, which are compatible with the other shadow models.
Q: Who is CZ?
A: The CZ arms factory was founded in 1936 in the Czech Republic, and came to America in 1997. They started by making aircraft machine guns during world war 2,then began to develop sub machine guns, rifles, and pistols. In 1962 they designed the VZ. 61 machine pistol, which was designed to bridge the gap between pistols and automatic weapons. In 1975 they created the CZ 75 semi automatic pistol, which has been the foundation of most of their pistol designs since. In 2019, CZ started their first factory in America, which is located in Kansas.
Q: What ammo should I use?
A: These mags are designed for 6mm plastic airsoft bb’s, and for the weight we’d suggest anywhere between .20 and .32. Check out our bb selection here!
Q: How do I maintain my CZ magazines?
A: Green gas magazines have lubricant in the gas, so you won’t have to regularly maintain these as much as a co2 magazine. The co2 magazines will need to be lubricated with silicone oil on the seal. This is to avoid the seal drying out and cracking.
Q: Who makes the CZ pistols?
A: The CZ pistols are distributed by Action sport games (ASG). ASG is known for their CZ pistols, as well as the scorpion EVO.
