A: Loading a mid capacity mag by hand is nearly impossible. The tension on the magazine spring makes it difficult to load individual bb’s into the feed ramp. Having a speed loader makes it possible to load your mag in as quickly as ten seconds! This provides a huge advantage when reloading in a hurry. You also get the added benefit of carrying more ammo with you.
Q: Which loader should I get?
A: There are a few different kinds of speed loader available on our website. The first is the pistol size speed loader. These carry 90 rounds, and are designed to fit into a pistol magazine pouch. This is ideal for magazines with a smaller capacity, such as a pistol or SMG.
The next loader is the 150 round loader. It’s the same idea as the pistol loader, but with a slightly larger capacity. Next is the rifle speed loader. It can hold up to 480 rounds, which is great for AEG mid capacity magazines designed to hold 140 rounds or more. These speed loaders will fit into an M4/AK magazine pouch.
The satellite speed loader is designed to be a more efficient loader. It can load six bb’s per push instead of four, and the plus version can thread directly onto your bb bottle. This speeds up the loading process even more!
