About the HK MP7 Navy Gas Blowback Airsoft Gun Gen 2
For a long time, the only option on the market for the MP7 was from KWA. The MP7 Navy is a new Gas Blowback version built in Taiwan by VFC. This replica is different from the others on the market because it is actually a true 1:1 scale MP7. The gun weights 4.2 lbs and has great fit and finish. The Generation 2 now features a steel barrel making the gun much more durable and realistic than the Gen 1. It features fully licensed HK trademarks that accurately replicate the real rifle. It has a selector switch which allows safe, semi automatic, or fully automatic fire. The gun uses green gas for it's power source, which is stored in the 40 round magazine. Load up the magazine, insert it into the rifle, pull the charging handle and you're ready to rock. Every time you pull the trigger, the gun will fire and cycle the bolt, accurately replicating the real firearm. On the last round, the bolt will lock back, letting you know it's time to insert another magazine.
Externally the MP7 is packed full of features. It has a telescoping stock which can fully collapse to allow the gun to be used like a pistol. There is a single picatinny rail on top of the gun that runs the entire length. Mounted on the rail are detachable iron sights that can be used as a low profile sight when folded down, or flipped up for a higher sight that is designed to co witness with a red dot sight. There are also 4 sling mount points allowing for single point or 2 point slings for left or right handed shooters. The foregrip also features 3 mil standard 1913 picatinny rails that can mount additional accessories as the need be.
As with all gas blowback guns, they do need regular cleaning and basic maintenance to keep them in top notch firing condition. It's essential that you clean your barrel and clean and lubricate the critical components as described in your owners manual. We recommend using Slip 2000 Airsoft Lubricant to maintain your rifle. When you are done using the gun for the day, make sure your magazine has a slight amount of gas inside the magazine - this will keep just enough pressure to keep the seals snug. Always follow the manufacturer's recommendation for storing your rifle in a cool dry place that is out of direct sunlight.
