Sometimes you need a light on your rifle, and some times on your pistol - no problem. You can easily remove and reinstall this light between your rifle and pistol in a matter of seconds. Having your light weapon mounted makes it much more stable and keeps your hands where they need to be - on the rifle or pistol that you are using. The flashlight uses CR123A batteries and it produces 100 lumens of light to adequately illuminate your targets. It also includes a belt clip to hold it when not mounted on your pistol. This is great if you have a holster that does not allow you to keep a flashlight attached to the pistol.
