About the Classic Army M16 Vietnam
For those that want a retro rifle, Classic Army makes a solid replica of the original M16A1 that was used widely during the Vietnam War in the 1960s-1970s. This is perfect for reenactors and those who want that old school look. The M16A1 features a full stock and a triangular polymer handguard. The handguard is solid and is comfortable to use. The barrel is authentic to the M16A1 as well, being of 20" length (509mm inner barrel) with a skinny profile which reduces weight. The receiver is different from many modern M4/M16 type rifles. The metal receiver features a carry handle and a grey finish like found on the early M16s in real life. There are also small details that make it closely resemble the old pattern rifles as well. If you are looking for something that screams old school, this is the rifle for you.
These Classic Army rifles feature a protection MOSFET and are pre-wired to use Deans with a Small Tamiya adapter so you can use standard or Deans plugged batteries.
