Keep reading to get more details on all of the items that are included in the package!
1. The Classic Army EC1 - $169.99
Why the Classic Army EC1? Simple, this is a quality rifle that is going to shoot great out of the box. The last thing you want to do is get a new gun and be forced to tinker with it to get the performance you like. The Classic Army EC1 is a great shooting and reliable gun that has the latest features built in to he gun. It features a full quad rail system makes it easy to mount accessories such as lights, lasers, grips, bipods, and anything else you would like to add to the rifle. Included in the box are rail covers for those who would like to grip the rail system more comfortably while shooting. Additionally, this rifle comes with a LOT of internal upgrades. The barrel has been upgraded to a 6.03mm Tight Bore Barrel, increasing your range and accuracy. The wiring of the gun features an inline MOSFET, which protects your trigger contacts and allows you to run higher voltage batteries. One of the most common upgrades we do to almost all of our guns is change out the Tamiya connectors for Dean's, which is a lower resistance connector over its counterpart. The Classic Army EC1 comes wired to deans, but also includes the tamiya adapter as well. Overall, this is a great starter gun, and is one of our favorites.
2. Spare Enhanced 9.6V 1600mAH Battery - $24.99
A quality battery is an ABSOLUTE ESSENTIAL to have. This is one of the best investments you can make into your gun. A good battery will give you 2+ years of life for regular players who charge and use their batteries every week - just use a quality smart charger, and you're good to go! Batteries are rather easy to read: Volts are how fast your trigger response will be, the higher the voltage the faster the motor will spin, and will increase your rate of fire. mAH are milliamps Per Hour, which is going to be how much charge it can hold - the higher the mAH, the longer the battery will last during the day. A good rule of thumb with batteries for airsoft - mAH = Shots Fired. A 1600 mah battery will give you approximately 1,600 shots. The average player is usually firing close to 3,000 shots on a typical day of play. The Classic Army EC1 comes with one of these batteries in the box, and this Starter Kit is coming with an additional battery, which should give the average player enough battery charge to play for the whole day!
3. Smart Charger - $19.99
What good are two batteries if you don't have the proper charger? This is one of the best inexpensive investments you can make, most rifles that include chargers have standard wall chargers, or what we call 'dumb' chargers. These chargers will often include instructions that state to plug in the battery and let it charge for up to 6 hours, and then to unplug it. These chargers do not have a function to tell when the battery is fully charged, which can lead to undercharging the battery, or worse, overcharging the battery. Most of these chargers are in the 250mAH output range, which means it would take up to 6 1/2 hours to charge each of the batteries. Smart Chargers, on the other hand, have a much higher output, coming in at 1 amp per hour, which is 4 times faster than the standard charger, meaning it would take just over an hour for it to charge one battery! Additionally, these chargers have a feature that will automatically cut off the charge when the battery is fully charged, which is essential, so you no longer have to worry about overcharging or undercharging your batteries.
4. Bottle of 0.25g BB's, 2700 Count - $9.99
Now that we've gotten the rifle all prepped and ready to play, it's time to throw in some BB's! ONLY use quality BB's bought from airsoft stores, not from Big Box Stores or Sporting Goods Stores. A bad BB will damage a perfectly good gun faster than anything else. We've seen multiple brands of BBs claiming to be "high quality" or "precision grade" from Big Box Stores that are not compatible with quality guns. It's just not worth using them, and they will also void your warranty. The BB's we include and recommend through this rifle are Elite Force BB's, which are high-grade polished BB's that will not jam or break inside your gun. These are 0.25g BB's, which means they will be more accurate than the typical 0.20g.
5. ASG Thermal Tactical Lens Goggles - $29.99
Many fields are now switching to the new standard of safety goggles, which are three key parts: They must be ANSI Z87 rated or above, they must have a retention band that goes around the head to prevent them from falling off, and they must have full seal (no gaps) around the frame to prevent BB's from ever getting inside your goggles. With all three of these components, your goggles will be safe from BB's ever breaking through your goggles. These ASG Thermal Tactical Lens Goggles not only hit all of the marks, but also combat another problem that has become an issue - fogging! These goggles have a dual-lens setup which creates a two-layer chamber system that will prevent against fogging.
6. Mesh Mask - $19.99
So we've gotten eyes out of the way, but equally important to protect is the lower half of your face. Airsoft BB's can break teeth, and they are not easy to fix. Having a form of protection around the mouth such as a mesh mask. These mesh masks protect the soft skin around the face, such as your cheeks and mouth. Like the goggles, this mesh mask uses a retention band that goes around the head that when worn properly will not slide off the face. Mesh masks provide much more protection over other items such as a shemagh or a wrap.
7. Echo1 34" Rifle Bag - $19.99
Rifle Bags are not only useful for transporting your rifle, but is also a much safer way of doing so. These rifles are meant to look realistic, and the blaze orange tip can be easy to miss, which means this can be mistaken for a real rifle. Transporting it from your home to the field you need a rifle bag to keep you safe. The Echo1 34" rifle bag features an easily opened and closed zipper compartment for storing your rifle, as well as outside pockets for storing spare magazines, sidearms, and other accessories such as batteries and optics.
