Frequently Asked Questions
Q:Where are Blue Force Gear products made? A: Blue Force Gear products are designed and made proudly in America.
Q:Who uses Blue Force Gear products? A: Blue Force Gear products are used by people who demand the best in their tactical gear. Upper tier military personnel, law enforcement, and even civilians who demand better equipment then most will use HSGI pouches. As airsoft players who demand the best ourselves, we have found their products to be an excellent solution to having practical items that can be used for airsoft.
Q:What type of player is their gear made for? A: This stuff works great for hardcore Milsim or Speedsoft type players who want items that will enhance their speed and efficiency and have the best retention. Blue Force Gear makes some of the lightest pouches on the market.
Q:How long do these pouches typically last? And their slings? A: These pouches are designed to last indefinitely. The pouches are made of very thin and lightweight yet very strong nylon and synthetic materials. Their other signature items are slings, which have been issued to the Marines. If their slings are good enough for the Marines, they are more than good enough for us!
Q: What is the average price range of their products? A: Blue Force Gear makes many types of items. Pouches start at $30. Slings start at $45. Hardware to adapt and build your sling starts at under 10 dollars.
Q:Do these guns have any magazine compatibility issues? A: No these do not. The pouches are designed to maintain a profile of a magazine and can be stretched and adjusted to accommodate any style. You can stretch the shock cord to fit a much bigger magazine than the pouch is intended for (though this constitutes use and abuse). You would do this in an emergency when you need to retain something but overall, stretching it too much is not good for the bungees.
Q:Does Blue Force Gear warranty their products? A: Blue Force Gear has their own limited lifetime warranty which covers defects in workmanship and materials. This does not include use and abuse. If you wish to make a warranty claim, you should do it directly with Blue Force Gear. If you purchased a Blue Force Gear product through Fox Airsoft and spot something wrong with the quality and workmanship, you are also covered under our 30/30 warranty and we will gladly take care of that for you as well.
Q:What is their signature product? A: Where do we start? Their slings are of course proven in combat and were designed by veterans of the special operations community. Their pouches feature ultra thin but durable material to keep things lightweight. The webbing is just the same way and presents a low profile than the traditional MALICE clips they replace and we love running them. Their ten-speed line of gear features elastic pouches for low profile storage and great retention for those who want speedy reloads.
Q:What sets Blue Force Gear apart from the others? A: Their gear is for professionals who want streamlined lightweight gear.
